Aston Martin DB5 ‘Bond Car’
It’s the most famous car in the world. The machine that defined not just a brand, but an entire cinematic mythology. And here, on the winding sweep of the Furka Pass, fiction folds into reality once more.
This particular Aston Martin DB5 isn’t just a lookalike. Chassis #DB5/2008/R was purchased new by Eon Productions in 1965 for the promotion of Thunderball, fresh off the global success of Goldfinger, where the silver coupe first slipped into immortality.
Used in official photographs and press tours, it quickly became one of the most visible ambassadors of Bond’s new automotive identity.
